Every engagement begins with an initial engagement meeting to establish a working relationship with the client, discuss and agree on the scope of the engagement including project control processes and requirements (e.g., status reporting, issues management, etc.), and address project logistics and communication issues.

In addition to the initial engagement, project and programme reviews are scheduled on a regular basis. These review meetings are designed to ensure quality of delivery and client satisfaction throughout the engagement. This demonstrates project management best practice in status reporting on accomplishments during the previous period, planned activities for next period, budget and spend rate, risks and issues, mitigation plan, recommendations, and insight.
